Since enhancements impact value, wherever possible AIG provides information on any/all treatments which are detected.
RUBY AND SAPPHIRE
NH: No indication of heating
HT: Indications of heating without residues in fissures
HT (A): Indications of heating with insignificant residues in fissures
HT (B): Indications of heating with minor residues in fissures
HT (C): Indications of heating with moderate residues in fissures and minor to moderate in cavities
HT (D): Indications of heating with significant residues in fissures and cavities
HT (Pb): Indications of clarity enhancement with lead glass
HT (Be): Indications of heating and clarity enhancement by introduction of chemical element from external source, for example Beryllium.
EMERALD
CLARITY ENHANCEMENT OF EMERALDS
CEE(O) None: Indications of no oil so no clarity enhancement
CEE(O) Insignificant: Indications of insignificant oil so slight clarity enhancement
CEE(O) Minor: Indications of minor oil so minor clarity enhancement
CEE(O) Moderate: Indications of moderate oil with no resin to minor resin so moderate clarity enhancement
CEE(O) Significant: Indications of significant oil with moderate to significant resin so significant clarity enhancement
